Pawnee west Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

NevaP: I decided I better check on this one and Yes,it is gone.[:(]

There's a large new brush pile, which seems to be the cut up pieces of a recently fallen tree. This is about 20-30 feet west of the old hollow log which held the cache. The log is broken up into pieces, which are still lying there.

I moved all the log pieces around and searched the area, peering into the brush pile as much as I could. No sign of the ammo can. I'm not sure what happened here. Maybe the tree fell on the log? I'm assuming the clean-up crew either removed the ammo can or tossed it in the brush heap. Anyway, it seems to be AWOL.

The cache had a good three year run and fortunately there were no travel bugs in it.
