Geocache Description:

An urban cache in a riparian woodland setting.

Here is a nice tucked-away area in the heart of Sugarhouse that kids of all ages will love. A group of local citizens banded together to save the Hollow from development a few years ago, and nature's beauty is everyone's reward for their worthwhile efforts. Plenty of parking close by. There are nice walkways all around and several historical plaques & interpretive signs about native flora and fauna to read. Parley's Creek flows right through the Hollow and sometimes ducks are present.

The buildings and heavy tree cover are sure to spin the magic pointer in circles, so be prepared to use your wits. Look for a small "decon" box. Because of this, don't plan on trading any large items. Also, bring a pen or pencil.

The cache is hidden quite well, but not difficult to access. When you do find it, please re-hide it carefully, as well or better than how you find it, and please be sure to replace the lid securely! Normally, there isn't a whole lot of foot traffic at any given time, but you must be discreet nonetheless. Enjoy the Hollow.
