MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Our Dumb Chums to find out about the status of this cache on April 27, 2007. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Geocache Description:

Located in the Trustees of the Reservations "Old Town Hill" property in beautiful Newbury MA, this cache will hopefully prove challenging and fun. Not too desperately long and hard for the small cacher, but challenging enough for the seasoned professional. First location is a film canister, your final destination is an ammo box.

We placed this cache the day after 9 inches of rain fell in less than 3 days. During rainy periods, dress appropriately. And as always -- be aware of ticks and poison ivy.

The cache is located not too far from the Fismo caches of OTH and OTH mini, so be sure to do those as well if you are in the area. In fact, you can park at the new main OTH parking area, and do all of the caches in one fell swoop.

Initial cache contents are:
A package of 4 bungee cords (you can take one or all)
Big Honkin' Nickel TB
Ornamental hanging thingie
A family of duckies
BBQ lighter wand (not intended for small children)
Hair clips (intended for a small girl if she'd like them, never worn)
Fridge Magnet in its original box
Playing cards
Cool multi-color pen
2pc Key chain

Special thanks to Fismo for putting in a log book for us (glad we checked the email this morning) as Momapillar had forgotten to put one in. Ever in your debt, again Simon & parents!

"Extra Points" to whomever can tell us the significance of the cache's name. Big hint, it has NOTHING to do with our neighbors Fismo (three people have misinterpreted the name including Fismo themselves). We worked long and hard coming up with this one... we hope you enjoy it!
