Geocache Description:

This in a nature center on Robson Rd in Bath, MI. Park at N 42 48.463 W 84 24.825. The park is bigger than it looks from the road and contains some nice rolling terrain. Enjoy the hiking. Many neighborhood locals walk their dogs here, so be wary of muggles and doggy-doo. The current cache container is a waterproof metal match container covered with camouflage tape and suspended above ground about knee high near a huge wild grape vine. It has a new log, and there are two pathtags in the bottom of the container for the first person to find the new container. Be careful not to drop them in the leaves, you may find it hard to relocate them. It should not be necessary to remove the device that holds the cache in place while unscrewing the container, but if you do find it necessary, please put it back excactly where it came from. Be sure to screw the container back shut tightly enough for the o-ring to be effective. The last 50 feet is off the trail - otherwise avoid the briars and stay on the trails and enjoy the wildflowers in the spring and summer. Beware of mud near the entrance to the parking area-in muddy weather park higher up on the hill, rather than near the entrance so you have the advantage of momentum to get you through the lowest portion. To reach the cache, you will have to cross a low area which may contain running water (it did when we placed the new container). Recent weather conditions will, of course, determine how difficult this crossing will be. While placing the hide in the new location, I found plenty of signs of wildlife, including deer, turkeys and rabbits. This is a very interesting and beautiful area. The boundary of the park is not fenced, please pay attention to the signs posted along the perimeter indicating you would be entering private property if you passed the signs. There are at least three loop type trails in the park, marked with Red, Yellow and Blue blazes. Be aware that during deer season there may be hunters in the area, so wear blaze orange if entering the park during those seasons.
