This Cache is located in Cockaponset forest in Chester Connecticut.
You'll be looking for a "cunningly" disguised ammo box. I'm not sure how cunningly you can disguise a large metal box, but we tried. Initial contents are varied and everyone should find at least something they'll like to take away with them.To get to this area, the forest is off of route 148 in Chester, it's a fairly large park with lots of different hiking trails, small streams to jump over and a couple of nice sized lakes for canoeing and swimming.The hike to the cache should be a pleasant one, a couple of little brooks to stone hop across. The final location of the cache is not "very small child" friendly. I would imagine anyone over 12 should have no trouble with the location.There is a camera in the cache, feel free to take pictures of yourselves, your dogs or whatever strikes your fancy! Please let me know when there are no more exposures left.
