This natural area, maintained by Eastern Illinois University, is a relatively undisturbed woodlot bisected by a small stream but it is subject to flooding.
The cache is a camouflage-painted ammo can that should be a relatively easy find if one is within shouting distance of the potential find. However, getting to the cache may be more difficult. The farmland and pasture adjacent to the 10-acre natural area are off limits.Original contents of the cache include a log book, night light, kitchen scraper, Spiderman ball, and a folk music CD.Do not believe the roadside signs on 1150E. Park on the roadside adjacent to the area entrance. Turnaround is about 50 yards farther east.
