Busy Bee Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Hitch0705: I've gone ahead and requested for this one to be archived. There are many coal/gold mines inside city limits. I'll do my homework and place another one like this one soon. Be safe...

Geocache Description:

Interested in some local history? Ever wonder why there are empty fields in the middle of residential areas? Do you really know what’s under your feet? Take a short walk and find out some history of Colorado Springs. You’ll be surprised what your standing on.

I've done some research on the area and came up with quite a surprise. The cache is geared towards the history of the area and not much towards knick-knacks. This cache follows the theme of the Gold Camp History cache. You can stick to the paved path up to about 100 feet of the cache. You’re looking for something blue. I would advise not to wear open toe shoes to this cache or bringing your dog.
