Just off one of the many hiking/biking trails throughout the historic Village of Greendale.
Cache container is an ammo box with lots of goodies, so be sure to bring the kids. Greendale is one of the most charming communities in Milwaukee County. There's something for the entire family here to spend a fun-filled day. My personal favorites are Ricardo's (best pizza) and Ferch's Malt Shop (enjoy watching them mix dozens of flavors of custard on an old-fashioned marble creamery). There's plenty of other unique specialty shops that you won't want to miss.You can park fairly close to the cache, but I recommend parking at N42 56.376 W088 00.078, then pick up the hiking trail starting at N42 56.357 W088 00.041.This area is special to me. It was my birth place. My great-grandparents (Larson family)were also one of the very first settlers in the Village in 1938. Since then, my grandparents, parents, aunts, and uncles have all lived here. I lived in the "B Section".
