Geocache Description:

The Photo Recon Cache is located north of Houston.  The cache is not at the coordinates listed above!

Recently a Cessna Citation bearing US Government markings but no other identification departed an airport at the coordinates posted above.  The mission of this aircraft was to monitor activities by suspect groups north of the city of Houston.  The crew observed members of a  mysterious group known as "Team Troglodyte" carrying what may have been a .30 caliber ammunition container into a forested location north of the city.  Unfortunately, the dense tree cover prevented effective surveillance of their activities.  The reconnaissance aircraft orbited the area at high altitude until the Trogs emerged from the forest cover.  The mysterious container was no longer in their possession, perhaps having been hidden in the forest.  Their activities were monitored, and they were seen to emerge from their vehicle after a drive of approximately ten miles.  The crew of the aircraft managed to send one photo,  taken from high altitude, of their location.

The picture has been posted above.  The crew transmitted a message stating that the Trogs seemed to be very interested in an spot about 50' west of the center of the semi-circular driveway that can be seen near the top center of the photograph.  The crew speculated that the Trogs may have been leaving some sort of message for their fellow conspirators, and that they would descend to a lower altitude to attempt to gather more information about the Trogs activity  After this transmission, radar data indicate that the aircraft descended at an extremely high rate, and radar contact and all communication was abruptly lost.  Despite an extensive search, no trace of the missing aircraft has been found. When the aircraft began its descent, the crew had not yet sent the exact coordinates of the photograph they had transmitted to the ground station.  The only information received was that it was 6.495 miles from the point of departure.

To find the last reported location of the Trogs, it will be necessary to carefully match the aerial photograph to maps of the area, and find a configuration of roads, etc. that match those depicted in the photo.  An object approximately 50' west of the center of the driveway may bear the final coordinates of the container hidden by the Trogs.  Please help to locate this hidden container and determine whether it is a threat to national security!  Notify "The Company" at 202-555-1234 of your findings, and be sure to post the results of your search on this web page!

NOTE: Depending on your choice of parking, the round trip walk to the physical cache will be about .9 miles. You can follow clear trails to within .1 miles or less of the cache and then take a very easy bushwack to the cache itself
