This cache is a very well hidden,(by leafs, brush and twigs),container. The cache is a small Rubbermaid type container. It is about 3 feet off to the West of the paved bike trail. There is plenty of parking to the North of the cache area.
This area around the lake is often referred to as China Town and the lake often called China Town Pond. The bike trail is on what used to be the railroad tracks that the trains travelled to the Donk Brothers Coal mine. The mine was located about a half mile South of the lake. Back in the early years of this coal mining town, the area to the East of the cache and the lake, had many "company homes", built by the mining company, where the miners lived. The miners worked 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday, and on Sunday they would relax and do their laundry. One day while walking through the area the President of the mining company noticed all the clothes lines and all the laundry hanging up to dry. He said that the area looked like a Chinese laundry, and since then the area was referred to as China Town. This lake area hosts numerous activities, so look around and enjoy this nice lake and park. This is a popular area, so be aware of those who could observe the cache location.
