While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. This cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable. Since there has been no update with maintenance plans from the cache owner I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting. If not, please pick up any remaining pieces/parts of the cache before they become geolitter.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Pontiac Lake Recreation Area (state park). You can park outside the park for free, parking inside requires a daily or annual sticker. Do not park in the area off white lake road where they actually fly the remote control airplanes. That area is private property.

The cache is located in a hard plastic clear container. There are many different trails that can be taken in order to reach it. Bug repellant is suggested (needed) in the warmer summer months. You may hear the roar of radio controlled aircraft while searching for this cache from a nearby airfield. Contents include some swimming related trinkets, keychains and a pencil and log.
