TeresaAndTooly: Thank you all for visiting our cache. The area sure has changed over the years and it is now time to archive this one. I hope everyone enjoyed the challenge. I have collected all the stages today and was amazed by all the changes by nature in the last few years. I even came out of the field and woods without any ticks this time.

Geocache Description:

This is in a un-developed park located in Delta Township. Parking is available at N42°45.317 W084°41.640. This is a Dog friendly area. Short pants not recommended. Alternate parking in wet seasons N42°45.200 W084°41.999.

This is a multi cache with a fun difference from most of the typical multi caches. While playing with our GPSR's, we have found some interesting features. It seems that you can create waypoints at a certain angle and distance just by moving the cursor around on the map screen and creating a waypoint. After our little discovery, we decided to share our newfound knowledge by creating this cache. Stage 1 is a stone type container with details on how to do stages 2 thru 6. Stages 2 through 5 are within a short walk of stage 1 and utilizes the techniques mentioned above. Stage 7 is a ammo box. Note that stages 2 through 5 can also be done with the ole trusty compass and pacing the distances off. The compass orienteering technique reminded me of my scouting days, hence the name of the cache. Also Garmin GPSR's have a feature called projecting waypoints that could also be used for this. Also a note pad and pencil would be helpful. As usual remember to Log all of your caching adventures as this helps us keep the cache well maintained.
