The trail is located in a new (2004) housing development on
Gillis Road. The housing development is called The Hamptons, and
the trailhead is on Yale Court at the following coordinates N 43
00.483 / W 077 25.121. You'll find a small gravel parking area
there.
There's a pond, wetlands/marshy areas, trees, hills, etc. There
was a heron along the edge of the pond when I was there. The trail
is uneven in a number of places and can be muddy when it's been wet
out, so it's probably not the easiest walk for small children.
This cache's name comes from the fact that it started out life
stocked with various art supplies. Feel free to trade whatever sort
of items you like. I'll reload a few theme items whenever I do
maintenance on the cache. Signature items and travel bugs are
always welcome, of course!
The cache container is a .30 caliber ammunition box.
