Geocache Description:

A good 4wd drive will get you close but the rest is up to you. There are 2 ways in. One easy, one tough.

this is my first cache so if it is too nasty somebody please tell me. the best access is off of s. Rockerville rd. you can take a 4wd up an old dry creek bed about .75 miles. Please be aware that you WILL scratch your paint and most likely dent you vehicle as well. However if you would like to hike it's pretty nice. as you get closer to the cache it gets harder with a final climb up large boulders and "Cliffs" (notice cliffs is in quotes because you won't need any climbing gear). The cache is a green plastic ammo container near a cliff in a small bush. wear long pants and take some water. Other than that just enjoy the view.

NOTE* I have heard that people are walking in on the road from the north. This is a MUCH easier hike in than the one I outline. If you want to use my traditional path up, Hike in from the starting point just south of the dirt road. It is a very grown over drainage in a narrow valley (only 100 feet south of the dirt road on Rockerville road). Usually very wet. Hike or drive in until you get to an old water trough for cattle. Then you must walk the rest of the way. Once you get parallel with the cache, it is STRAIGHT UP. Real calf burner !!!!
