This is my first cache, which means that I am very receptive to comments and suggestions.
The cache is a 7.5 x 5 x 2.5 inch Rubbermaid container located within Otter Creek Park. The entrance to the park is located on KY 1638 just west of the Otter Creek bridge. Follow the park's road until it ends at the Conference Center.The park staff requested that I place the cache so as to avoid the possibility of geocachers making new trails. Consequently, the cache is hidden among large rocks about six feet from the edge of the parking lot. It sounds simple until you realize that there are a lot of rocks there. The cache is covered with a flat, lightweight rock that is easily moved. No heavy lifting required!Once you find the cache, walk to the rear of the Conference Center and treat yourself to the most spectacular view of the Ohio River that you've ever seen. There's something very theraputic about gazing out over the Indiana farmland to the north, and watching barges slowly making their way up and down the river. Sit a spell and enjoy the beauty of this site!
