Geocache Description:

The cache, dedicated to fabric and bead arts, is not at the posted coordinates, but you don’t need any special knowledge or training to solve this little puzzle, just imagination and observation. All the clues are in plain sight.

At the posted location: Do you see what I see? Do you get where are you going to hike now? Excellent.
At the Clue1 location: You know what you looking for now, don’t you? Turn you back to the first clue and to the posted coords, you should see Clue2 some 50 ft away. Go there.
At the Clue2 location: Continue beyond the second clue for about the same distance as you’ve just covered from the 1st clue, angling to the left. There will be a couple more minor hint objects to guide you (let’s call then Clue2a and Clue2b), but you probably wouldn’t even need any hints at this point.
The cache is a plastic nut jar containing, among other trades, a collection of fabric crafts items. Also included was Pig Ears the Cach-U-Nut as a silent reminder how difficult it was for me to get the crafts paraphernalia from my Fabric Arts Enthusiast. (You can see what we really do with the stuff at the Salt Lake Spring Doll & Teddy bear show next Saturday 4/24/04 … it should range from totally traditional doll charms to totally innovative mice-loving striped cats). Also priming the cache was Rose Red Snow White, as a hint that this should be a good destination for the kids.
GPS reception may be spotty beneath the steep slopes, but you really won’t need any good precision on your quest. With the right choice of a route, you should be able to avoid bushwhacking and to stay on trails all the time. But the trail may be slippery when wet, and sometimes flooded in mid-spring. For the description of the trails of Neffs Canyon, look at the cache page of now-archived Dark Star.
