07/03/04 Note: As some posters noted having
problems with #13, we decided to add a clue for this picture (see
encrypted hint). That way if you get stuck on this item, there is a
bit more help you can use out in the field. Hope that helps!
NOTE (May 19th): As Hooked mentioned, in the logs
below, the plants/trees that covered the final location for the
cache have been removed this week. The cache should still be ok
where it is as long as the container is pushed far enough back (but
where a person can still reach it). It will also make
getting/placing it a LOT harder - so use your secret agent skills
for this. We may move this cache if new log entries state
concerns.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
This cache requires that you start at the posted coordinates.
From the starting point, you will then look for the item shown in
picture #1. Once found, proceed to this item and get as close to
being under/over/next to it as possible. From there, continue on to
the next picture (and so on) until you have found the last pic.
Occassionally, you may need to step out a few feet to get a better
vantage point to find the next location...
Each item shown can be seen from the location of the picture
prior. However, the pictures shown here may have been taken at a
closer or slightly different angle from the way you will see it
from your standing location but once you get to the item you should
be able to confirm that you are at the right object. Pictures may
be a far distance away or they may be fairly close... so you'll
need a sharp and discerning eye to progress through the numbers.
Also, it is advised that you print the photos in color but if you
*really* want a challenge, try them in black/white.
Note that you will never need to enter a building to continue
but as you move on to the final cache spot, enjoy the various
architectural features you may see on the way.
How to print pictures from Internet Explorer -
Hover your mouse over each picture set (set A = pictures 1-9, set B
= 10-18, set C = 19-27 and set D = 28-32) and you will see a print
control appear that looks like this:
Select the printer icon and your machine's print
selector should appear. Otherwise, you can select the link "
Make
this page print-friendly (no logs)" shown at the top, left
(above the cache description). This will show you a print-friendly
page from which you can use your browser to print (File >
Print).
Final Note: You might need to be rather stealthy in
retrieving the container depending on the time of day/day of the
week you visit the cache site. Weekends are recommended. Also, the
container only had room for a logbook, so please bring your own
pen/pencil to log your visit. Finally, we'd like to thank DoodleR
for giving this cache a test run and her comments were extremely
valuable!
