If you
ever wanted to know where the fresh water of Klagenfurt is stored
you should visit this cache.
The hunt will take about 45 min walking through the wood on pretty
good paths. The rating is done with the wellknown system. I would
personally rate it 2/2.
You can
park your car next to the starting point. If you want to use public
transport take bus 40 to "Th. Schmidt Gasse" and walk 10 min to
reach it.
You will find the first clue at
N 46° 38.463
E 14° 18.430
Look for a 2-digit number on a blue plate. The result is
H.
Then go to
N 46° 38.5(H*4-10)
E 14° 18.5(H*6+4)
Beside a outlook over the airport of Klagenfurt you will find
D on a tree.
Follow some paths to
N 46° 38.6(D+3)
E 14° 18.5(D+2*H)
Depending on what you see you will get M
Statue of the Virgin Mary M=3
Little biotope M=4
Strange looking knot tree M = 5
You will find a big building at
N 46° 38.5((M+1)*H)
E 14° 18.3(M*D-10)
On this buliding you find a description on a plate that helps you
with the following question:
How many litres of water can be inside? Count the 0s and you will
get W.
At this time you may want to look for the cache at
N 46° 38.(W*W*H-H-1)
E 14° 18.(H*W*W-2*D-1)
The cache initially contained:
