There is a story that goes with this one, so indulge me. Last fall when I went to Italy on a bike tour, I thought the rest of the group was too slow for me. I took off on my own, but those directions must have been wrong.
Anyway, when the leader of the tour had to make a 20 mile detour to find me, he was not a happy camper.
When the group was together again, he announced that the hotel was another 15 miles, much of it uphill.He asked if anyone wanted to ride in the van to the hotel.
I put my hand up. I was really tired from those extra 20 miles!He looked at me in disbelief and yelled ,"NO! YOU RIDE! THIS IS YOUR PAIN!"
What he meant to say was--No--you ride and this will be your punishment! ( for getting lost).
So this cache is dedicated to all my geocaching friends who also do stupid things to try to show off. Like risking your life to find a tupperware box on the side of a cliff, wander alone in the woods for hours, or endure heat/mosquitoes/frustration----all for a stupid smiley face.
THIS IS YOUR PAIN!
You will just have to suffer through it.
