07-14-04 UPDATE OF CO-ORDS 32-59.715N 107-54.852W
Hiwy 35 to forest rd. 152 towards McKnight Peak. East canyon turnoff is approx. 8.5 mi. from paved rd. Last 1.0 mi. somwhat rough but passable. Road into canyon is ROUGH, you can park at top of turn off and walk approx. 1 mile, or drive into canyon and get within .2 mi of cache. Go downstream ( yes, running water, pretty canyon). Cache is at base of large ponderosa tree, covered with pine needles and branches. Cache contents pen & log book, mouse with cookie, alien key ring ( from McKnight Peak cache), beaded chili pepper, safety pin necklace, end of trail wood cutout, lighter, budda. (from Ben Lilly-Cherry Creek cache.Caution- do not attempt to drive into canyon in wet or snow without 4 wheel drive. Visited site on 07-14-04 made change in co-ords and left wood cut-out of silent bear. CO-ORDS UPDATE 07-14-04 32-59.715N 107-54.852W
