Geocache Description:

Located in Wiswall Dam Park in Durham on Wiswall Rd., which connects Packers Falls Rd. and Little Hook Rd. to Lee Hook Rd. Not a snow-friendly cache!

Wiswall Dam Park is a nice little area along side the popular Lamprey river. This spot is a great place to fish and there's also an area on the up-stream side of the bridge to launch paddle boats. Parking is at 43' 06.278// 70'57.720. Take the trail on the parking lot side of the river. Cache is a 6"x9" clear with blue rim Rubbermaid container. This area sometimes has a good number of visitors who may be in the cache area, so please be discreet when retrieving or replacing the cache and leave it well covered. Steep banks sloping down to the river next to the trail is a danger for children. During high water the cache may be unapproachable. No bushwhacking needed. Also, check out Wiswall Antiques which is almost across the road from the park. It's a neat store. (sorry, don't know the hours).Happy geocaching!!
