Squantum Point Park Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Squantum Point Park to find out about the status of this cache on May 10th 2006. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

If you would like to replace it and have it reinstated, please contact me through my profile.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

At Squantum Point, visitors can see the Boston skyline across the harbor and dozens of species of wild birds in the park. The park was originally used as a Naval airfield. It was also once the home of the Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corporation, which built destroyers for the Navy. The MDC developed the site as a waterfront park while maintaining both its bird habitat and the traces of its aviation history. The park officially opened to the public in June, 2001, and it is now a popular spot to watch the birds and take in the spectacular views of the harbor.

You will find this to be a very straight forward multi with four steps, coords for next step at posted coords and off you go. Enjoy the walk and the views out at the point, there's also alot to see over at Marina Bay in the summer months.
