An easy walk in Biddulph Grange Country Park. Be sure not to miss out the boat house, Himalayan walk or round rock, which offers some lovely views of the surrounding area. The paths can sometimes be muddy, so be prepared.
The National Trust Gardens of Biddulph Grange border onto the country park. They are well worth a visit while you are here and have many suprises and unusual features. The Great Wellintonia Avenue, now replanted, finishes at the stone vase, visible from the country park. It used to continue into a "winding tunnel leading to a keeper's house, dog kennels and pheasant nursery", according to local history books.
