Clark's Hill Multi-Cache

anniebananie: It is time to let this one go. The area is going back to nature and the vines, picker bushes and poison ivy are everywhere. Will retrieve the cache next week. Thanks for the ride.

Geocache Description:

Clark's Hill Cache

This cache is located on the Clark's Hill Conservation Area in Lunenburg, MA. This is the site of one of the first permanent settlements in Lunenburg in 1719. The site has recently been cleared and maintained by Boy Scout troop 1728. If you look at Turkey Hill to the SSW you will see remnants of the Lunenburg Tow - a local ski hill that we skied on in the early 1960's. You can find additional information about this and other abandoned ski areas at (visit link) The first part of the cache is a micro film canister and requires no bushwacking but part II requires a bit of light bushwacking. The conservation area is bounded by stone walls. Please be respectful of private property.Parking is available on Lancaster Avenue @ N 42.35.136 W 071.42.879.
