This cache is in the heart of Connemara.From Galway headtowards lettermore via the coast road.On your way you will pass the T.V. station TG4 and Radio Na Gaeltachta.The cacheis on the first of the "islands", not to worry bridges all the way.After the first Bridge you will see a pub called"The Hooker"(nautical type mind you).You can park here and proceed on foot.Follow the road and turn right at the Island holiday cottages,.Your on your own now.If you go to N53 19.038 W009 38 671 which is on the way you will be up high enough to take in the fine view from here,on your left is Lettermore hill,which every Year as part of the local summer festival"Peigin Leitir Mor", is a race from the base, to the summit,it is called the "Rasa Tobac" as the winner would receive a plug of tobacco,but nowadays a plague is presented to the winner.From the summit you can see the other Islands.Best done on a sunny summers day. Enjoy.
