Rocky terrain
This cache was placed in a fairly easy location in the middle of South Mountain Park close to a bike trail. However, depending on how you enter, the hike can be very easy, or extremly difficult. Just going cross country without looking at a topo map is probably NOT the best way to get there.
There is a nice waterfall near this cache when there is a HUGE rain. However, this is very rare in the desert and there is usually no water in sight. It is a pretty area though.
The travel bug, Gilbert Gecko, was originally placed in this cache, plus misc trinkets added by the kids of Hidden Canyon Gang.
