Ride the Horse Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Krypton: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Another micro cache by that evil Joani.

Joani and I love this park because it reminds us of when we used to go to Frontier Village. We've hidden two caches in this park before, but new construction destroyed the hiding spot of one and the other one went missing. One thing the new play area provided is a flash back to something that was here in the original park, horses on a big spring. The picture to the right is my little brother Dave, riding on a horse (okay, it's a zebra) on opening day of the park back in '61.

The cache is small, and the difficulty is high because there are no hints provided and there are many possible hiding spots. However, since this area is often crawling with kids, some of you might not feel like searching for it. As an alternative to the traditional cache, you may also claim this as a find if you take a picture of yourself riding one of the three spring horses that can be found at:
N37 15.936
W121 49.265

Just post the photo with your find log. Bonus points to those who sign the log and post a photo. (FTF goes to the first person to sign the log.)

The cache is small and contains only a log sheet. Bring your own pen. Please take care to replace the cache exactly as you found it.
