Geocache Description:

Easy traditional located on Massachusetts Audubon Society land in southern Westford. Hike is easy but there is one stream crossing. Minimal bushwhacking.

This cache was adopted in January 2007 and had its container replaced.

For the closest access to this cache, pull off to the side of Texas Road near the intersection with Hayrick Road.

Follow the horse trail around the perimeter of the Audobon field to give plenty of space to the birdhouses. The Audubon Society asks that you not bring dogs, cellphones, or anything else into the area that might disturb the wildlife. The horse trail will take you into the woods. You'll have to hop on a few rocks to get across Nonset Brook close to the cache. The container is a medium lock+lock box.

There are many trails in this area. Some of the trails are shown on the Westford Conservation Nashoba Brook Watershed map: (visit link)

Another good geocache nearby is the Emmett Stone Cache.
