This geocache was designed for the geocacher playing tourist. There is an unmarked tourist attraction for those who venture on this journey. Depending on road/weather conditions, this should not be a long or difficult cache. Plan about 1-2 hours of round trip GEO Caching time from the IMAX Theater.
This cache is down 2.5 miles of dirt road. On a DRY day, most vehicles can drive right up to this cache. Low clearance vehicles may have difficulty the last 1/2 mile. Even 4 wheel drive may have trouble the last 0.5 mile if roads are wet. IF IT IS RAINING OR SNOWING, THIS CACHE SHOULD NOT be attempted by vehicle. When these roads turn to mud, walking is not even enjoyable. Fortunately in Arizona its dry most of the year.
SEE PHOTOS TO UNDERSTAND WET/SNOWY CONDITIONS.
Driving Directions: From HWY 64 take Forest Service Road 306 West (N35 56.116 W112 07.849) for 1.5 miles. Then turn right at the Fork in the road (N35 56.116 W112 09.289) and go down FS 306J for 0.9 miles.
