Just off the side of the highway, no effort needed to score this cache. Sorry, you do have to get out of your car.
This is the first of what I hope will be at least a few more Sanpete Quick Caches. This one has good parking just off the side of the highway in the DOT gravel drop. It's a small cache, just enough room for a regular logbook, a pen, and maybe a few signature cards. Please don't leave any trade goods in it. I'll have to move them to one of the nearby caches. When your standing at the cache you'll notice the old Rio Grand R/R long since abandoned and torn up because of the 1983 mudslide in Thistle. The mudslide created a lake that cover a portion of the railway. Rio Grand deemed our little neck of the woods not worthy of their efforts to repair it.
