Find the 9 Traditional Cache
Man In The Wild: Time to end this cache. We noticed some people were logging a letterbox that was hidden in the same area instead.

This cache is located in a small city park in St. Albans.
Thanks to bluet for bringing everyone here to see "Morgan's
Kitchen." During the summer months you can get a tour Sundays from
2-4pm and learn about this old kitchen. The 9 that you were
supposed to search for has faded over the years so I have changed
this into a more traditional find with updated coordinates and a
lowered difficulty rating. The terrain was raised to 1.5 due to it
not really being wheelchair accessible. I also changed the
container size from other to regular. The coordinates on this page
now point to the cache itself--go for it and grab that find!
I can't get myself to delete the original description so for the
sake of history, here it is:
The coordinates are for the parking area of this little park. Once
you arrive, you must search for the numerals 09 prominently
displayed in 5" figures. They may be a little difficult to see. I
am 5'2" and the cache was 15 paces from the 9 for me. You might
also find a few extra clues if you look hard. When you find the
cache be sure to recamo it carefully. Also remember that there is a
residential area across the street so use your stealth moves. The
cache is a SMALL traditional cache in a Virginia Dare Instant
Meringue Powder container. It is a buggy cache. The original
contents were:2 cockroaches 100 ants a honeybee nightlight a
honeybee castinet little magnifiers little bug boxes with
magnifying lids several bug tree ornaments a travel bug I found
this morning at Belle View (Trumpy Trunote; What Luck!)This and
that!!!!If you can, stick to the buggy theme. This is our first
cache (Me and Shepp the Demon Shepherd). Hope you enjoy it! Please
recamo this cache exactly as you find it. This is actually a very
high use area. Kids pass nearby everyday on their way to the river.
The cache is meant to be different and, yes, challenging.
Thanks!
