A nice hike in a little known preserve. This cache is dedicated to
our four legged friends that help us find the caches.
We tried an experiment with this cache. We let our geodog Eliott
find the cache location. The cache is in a great area to bring your
dogs (or other critters) and let them stretch their legs. Public
parking can be found at: N 41° 05.518, W 087° 51.553. Near the
cache location there are several spots with ancient rusting cans,
some scrap metal objects and even some huge concrete gates and
posts. The historical significance of the area is that it's the
site of a old fish hatchery. Make sure you do some exploring in
this great area. Enjoy the views and the wildlife.
