The cache is located in probably the most remote area of the city. Not many people visit or are even aware of its existance. You will need some type of boots as it is muddy and plenty of bug repellant when it warms up.
There must be a hundred Mud Lakes in Wisconsin. This Mud Lake is an undeveloped city property. I don't know about many other Mud Lakes, but this one deserves its name. There is some bushwacking (less than 500'). Most of the hike, or bike, is along the old inter urban trolley line. It is possible to remain dry, but why bother? The container is tupperware covered in camo cloth. It contains a few small items that may appeal to a variety of finders. If the bugs aren't too bad, take some time to settle in and see what else shows up. There are alot of deer and turkey in the area.
