Geocache Description:

Carrying Place Falls, located on the Carry Pond Rd. in Pleasant Ridge. Regular cache in a plastic Lock n' Lock container.

This is just upstream from where the famous Benedict Arnold and his men took their boats out of the mighty Kennebec River and crossed over land to Dead River and the Chain of Ponds area in Eustis on their march on Quebec. Nice area, good for a picnic and a nice dip in the refreshing waters.
