Some minor hill walking involved. I did it with my 4 year old on my shoulders and didn't slip. :) But it's very close to the highway, not a place to let the 4 year old run around alone. A steep drop off of ~ 15 feet is nearby. But great first cache for new folks to find!
Please be careful on this hunt - no rock climbing needed or fiddling around in loose debris. Just a short trek through some grass and up. Pull off of highway just by guard rails and cliff face and walk up the highway to grassy area for an *easy* approach. Nothing too spectacular in this cache, but waiting from some travel bugs to come from Groundhog Cache :) If you like this one, then hide a cache across the highway for me (couldn't carry 4 year old up there - awesome view if you have time for another hike). Larger rock cut down the hill is awesome!
