Geocache Description:

Craiggowrie is the northern most hill in the Kincardine ridge. This fine wee ridge overlooks the road up to Cairngorm on one side, and the broad Strathspey on the other. Nestling under the ridge, in the pine woods, is the outdoor centre of Badaguish, which is a respite centre for handicapped persons. This is accessed by a narrow track off the road from Aviemore up to Glenmore. Discreet parking is allowed here. (Leave a note in your car window to say when you will return.)
There are numerous forest tracks which lead out from the centre - many suitable for mountain biking and also for cross country skiing in a good winter. A long track leads up through the woods onto the lower slopes of Craiggowrie; where the trees end, extensive views open out across the whole of Strathspey. Walking to this cache will probably take up to an hour. (Quicker by bike!)
Access from the Milton (north) side is very much more difficult. Paths marked on the map no longer exist. You have been warned!
