Geocache Description:

This is our first cache and hopefully not too difficult/easy!

It is located in North Cheshire, close to the M56 The cache is accessible by a public right of way (footpath).

This cache offers the finder fantastic views North (on a clear day!). Locations as distant as Winter Hill and Holcombe Moor are visible as well as being able to look down upon Bolton, Bury (Honest! just about make them out with the naked eye, mind you it was a fantastic clear day! ) & Manchester.

Not much of a view to the South! :-)

The shortest route to the cache is to park up close to the bridge near 53 21.829N 002 25.995W and hike it from there. More intrepid hikers could park near the Pub at 53 22.466N 002 24.637W and, navigating the footpaths, descend from the North! :-)

No wheelchairs or buggies on this one I am afraid, as the farmland is quite rugged!

Standard lunchbox type cache, the usual toys, coins and stuff inside. Please feel free to write your opinions/views of the location and to swap cache contents.
