Geocache Description:


On April 14th of this year we lost Geogeek65 in a horrible caching accident. Please see GCJ86M R.I.P. Geogeek65 for more details.Geogeek65 will be sorely missed by many geocachers around Chicagoland. He and I went caching together many times and I am proud to call him one of my good friends. We had many adventures together, shared some really good times and even had a few run-ins with the law while sneaking around doing night caches. I have been riddled with guilt ever since I heard about the accident. I feel somewhat responsible for giving him the idea that every cache could be a drive-up! It has taken me a while to work up the courage to go out caching again, but I think the Geogeek would have wanted me to go on.On our last caching adventure the Geogeek gave me a few new containers that he just got and wanted to try out. I don't know if he ever got to try out his new containers so I decided to go out and hide one in his honor. This cache contains a log book and just a few of the items that we found while caching together. It is hidden just off a main path in classic geogeek style. I hope he would be proud. This is a memorial so please feel free to say a few words about the Geogeek when you find this cache.
