Parking for this cache can be found at N33 33.503, W086 42.427. Be
sure to visit the nature center and grab a trail map. A donation is
suggested for trail maintenance. Once you see how nice this place
is, you won't mind!
This is Gray Fox Gap, a spot where three trails converge at
Ruffner Mountain. Take the Quarry trail, head up to the overlook,
or perhaps a Silent Journey is in order? Either way, enjoy this
jewel in the city and find a cache or two along the way. This cache
is a micro cache, and you do not have to leave the trail to find
it. You may want to bring your own pen. As always, keep to the
