Start at the parking area that you reach by going over the dam to the end of the road at the Causey Estates gate. The trail heads out the far end of the parking area above the shoreline.There are several branches in the trail... you always want the one that goes uphill. After about 1.5 miles on the trail, Mr. Pointer should be saying to go off the trail and up the hill. Time to follow Mr. Pointer's advice! The trail actually swings about 180 degrees around and below the cache site.The wildflowers were out in droves today. Red, white, purple, yellow, and blue. Hummingbirds were everywhere. It's good to see the reservoir so full!The cache is the standard ammo box. Please rehide at least as good as you found it.
