Cache koordinatene viser til første clue.
Cache boksen er en plastboks; strørrelse ca: 8x17x20 cm.

Ullevål Hageby må vel være et av de koseligste (og dyreste) områdene man kan bo i i Oslo. Derfor har jeg laget denne lille vandringen gjennom hagebyen, for vise dere denne perlen av et boligområde i hovedstaden.

Litt historikk:
John Collett (1758- 1810) var en gårdbruker og trelasthandler som eide Ullevål gård. Byen kjøpte Store Ullevål gård i 1909, og besluttet i 1913 å legge ut 425 dekar av gården til småhusbebyggelse med hager.
Arkitekt Oscar Hoff vant reguleringskonkuransen, og arkitektene Harald Hals og Adolf Jensen bidro til utformingen. I årene fra 1915 til 1922 ble det oppført 116 bygninger med 654 boliger samt ni samvirkelagsbutikker rundt Damplassen.
- På denne plassen lå det opprinnelig to dammer fra John Colletts tid. De ble bygget i perioden 1807-1814 av svenske krigsfanger. Så kom det en ny dam i 1920. Ifølge Oslo byleksikon ble dammen kalt Svenskedammen, som i proprietær Muus' tid fikk oppnavnet Muuse-dammen. Plassen rundt den nye dammen med fontene fra 1920 kalles nå kort og godt Damplassen. I 1998 ble plassen modernisert. Plassen er sentral i Ullevål Hageby. Den er vakker med sine nybarokke bygninger rundt. På den sørligste delen ble det oppført småhus.
Under krigen måtte 26 mann fra Ullevål skolekrets bøte med livet. Joseph Grimeland laget minnesmerket i bronse, som er plassert vis-á-vis Ullevål skole. Minnesmerket ble avduket i 1948.

Ullevål Hageby (U. Garden suburb) is one of the nicest (and most expensive) areas you can live in in Oslo. That is why I have made this little walk, through this beautiful part of Oslo.

John Collett (1758- 1810) was the owner of Ullevål gård (U. estate)(the big yellow house) when the city bought it in 1909, and wanted to build small houses with gardens, for the working class on the farm ground. The architects were Oscar Hoff, Harald Hals and Adolf Jensen. They were inspired by the English villages. There were built 116 buildings with 654 apartments, and nine small shops around the pond; called Damplass.
