Geocache Description:

The posted co-ordinates are NOT the location of “The 13th Cache” but when you stand at this point, you will be able to see its true location.

This information alone will not be enough to locate “The 13th Cache”, so in order to fine tune your search, you will first need to visit the 12 caches as listed below.

The 1st Cache - One Track Mind
The 2nd Cache - Two Cars Passing
The 3rd Cache - Three Wishes - Granted
The 4th Cache - Four LL's
The 5th Cache - Five Years Ago
The 6th Cache - Six O'clock is Stumps
The 7th Cache - Seventh Heaven
The 8th Cache - Eight a Picnic Lunch
The 9th Cache - Nine Little Ducks
The 10th Cache - Ten Green Bottles
The 11th Cache - Eleven Drummers Drumming
The 12th Cache - Twelfth of Never

Each of these caches contains a piece of jigsaw. Each piece of jigsaw contains one quarter of a set of co-ordinates. Four of these pieces when correctly assembled, will give the true location of “The 13th Cache”. Eight of the pieces are useless duds that will lead you astray. Your task is - to use your powers of deduction to figure out how to recognize the four authentic pieces. The catch is - you may not take the puzzle pieces away from the cache site so make sure you take a good look before replacing it into the cache. All of these caches are rectangular 700ml containers. Note: There is only one way to fit the logbooks back into the containers (diagonally) so please check how it goes when you first open them. Small swaps are available at all.

Important - If any one of these caches is muggled, the puzzle may become unsolvable, so please be extremely careful when searching for and replacing them. Also, please be careful when handling the pieces and do not deface them in any way.

If you should be successful, please be careful not to write spoilers into the log, lest you should give away a hint for the final location to your fellow geocachers. This puzzle is not meant to be a race, as you will miss out on spending some quality time in some of the great spots on offer, but if your competitive instincts take over, you may wish to log your time taken to complete this series. Your time starts upon getting within 100m of the first cache you seek. Your time stops when you are holding “The 13th Cache” in your arms. (Holding it above your head and shouting “I’m the King of the World” is optional and possibly muggles willing).

All of the 12 other caches as above are caches in their own right. They all may be logged individually and will take you to a dozen of our favorite spots in this area. At the very least, just finding these twelve caches alone should provide you with a pleasant day out. But then, you could live with not signing your name against “The 13th Cache”. Or could you?
