Located at Burley Park in the South Kitsap area. Parking lot coordinates: N 47.24.972, W 122.37.990. Gate is often locked, park is open. Park Street entrance (not Willow). Terrain rating is due to a bit of off-trail section to cache.
This cache was designed, picked out and placed by our seven-year-old son for a Personal Passion for Learning (PPL) project for his first grade class at Mullenix Ridge Elementary School near Port Orchard, WA! It's our hope that the class will enjoy tracking the happenings with this cache, and perhaps learn how to find it themselves.PLEASE KEEP ALL CACHE ITEMS, LOG ENTRIES, ETC. APPROPRIATE FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN.The original contents of this cache include: A pack of Mighty Beanz, three baseball cards, a soccer ball shaped notebook, a Transformers Activity pad, crayons, markers, highlighters, a magnetic Snakes and Ladders game, a magnetic Checkers game and a "Where's George" $1 bill (www.wheresgeorge.com) set up especially for this cache. Take it, spend it, track it!Cache container is 11" x 7" x 2" Tupperware container with a dark green lid. It is wrapped in a black bag and well concealed.
