One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Lanarkhighlander: The final cut:
I made a summer check up and found the container in poor shape and its stump hiding spot fallen apart.
I think its time for this cache to ride off into the sunset and give this location a rest.
Thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

A cache for a place with an odd name

When I drove through this area since starting geocaching I knew that a road with such an odd name needed a cache.

As far as I know this will be the first cache in Beckwith township and the closest to the confluence of 45 degrees latitude and 076 degrees longitude just north of Smiths Falls.

The area is a quiet country road setting through mixed forests and the odd marsh. Houses are scattered here and there and not much changes over time. The cache container is close to parking so a long walk is not in the cards and its in a little used cedar forest.

General notes:
1. the container is 4 inches in diameter and 8 inches high.
2. Great spot for commute and cache.
3. an easy winter find as its not on the ground.
4. Rated 2 thumbs up by Jack Nicholson
