The cache is located in Fletcher Community Park. The cache is placed out of casual view just before the Cane Creek trail.
Yet another cache in Fletcher Community Park. We had to archive “It’s Attached” until that area of the park is opened for public use. This cache is a replacement.
Location: Fletcher Community Park is a recreation park located off of Howard Gap Road in Fletcher NC. The entrance coordinates are N 35 25.448 W 082 29.986. The park is open from 6:30 AM till dusk year round. Park activities include softball, soccer, disk golf, horseshoes, a nature trail, and 1.3 mile river loop walking trail.
Follow the walking trail and let your GPS guide you to the cache. If you come to the "Cane Creek Trail," you you've gone too far. It's on the right, just off the walkway, behind some bushes. It is not in any way connected to, or have anything to do with the birdhouse, do don't waste your time or disturb the birdhouse by looking there.
The cache container is a medium sized pill container covered with black electrical tape. It contains a log and a few small tradable items. Please bring a pen or pencil to sign the log.
Please remember that animals have a much keener sense of smell than we humans. Please do not place candy, food or any other scented items such as soaps or candles in the cache, as animals often mistake these items as food, and will destroy the cache container trying to get to it. Also, please hide the cache container so it is not visible, so that other geocachers may enjoy in the hunt. - Thanks
