Geocache Description:

This short little two stage multi might seem like it’ll take a long time once you find the first stage, but it’s not as bad as it looks. The container at the posted location contains the coordinates for the second stage, and it’s just a matter of finding that needle once you’re there. A bike might be helpful to get to the second location(s) - mostly paved paths with grassy off-roading.

It just got more frustrating. This cache is going to be a little harder than I originally planned, thanks to Huggy_d1's suggestion . Well, there are some needles in the hay which are "crooked". They'll take you to a location that has a note posted which tells you to go back to the original coordinates. Good luck with this one. You must sign the log at the correct location to get credit for the cache.

The second and final stage is a little bit smaller than the first stage. The final stage has only a log. If you want, bring small trinkets (pennies, rocks, etc. that fit in a 35mm film canister) to hide in the "hay" to make this cache a little harder for the next poor sap.

This is a copy of Mushtang's Needle In A Haystack in Lawrenceville, GA.
TinSparrow has also hidden a similar cache (Needle In A Haystack 2) in the Columbia SC area.
rldill has copied this style as well due to this very cache to produce Needle In A Haystack 4 outside Raleigh, NC.
So if you get out that way be sure to stop by......
