Geocache Description:

    Important Notice:
As in Project 51's log, Burgess Track is now permanently closed to vehicles.
Unless you take your bike you will be in for about a
800mt easy walk from the nearest car park.

After attending a party thrown by our very good friends Phil and Jane for their daughter Emily’s 1st birthday we decided the fun should not stop there.

We travelled to an area we like to spend time in to place a cache in her honour.

Unlike most birthday events we are giving the gifts to the visitors. The first five people will be not only able to make a swap but also choose a tattslotto scratchy and hopefully win big>

  • There are:
  • 4 $1 and
  • 1 $3 tickets
Good Luck

This area is very popular with four wheel drives, motor bikes and walkers so take care on the windy roads. The cache is located on an unsealed road but should be passable all year round in a family car.

Because of the fantastic views this site becomes quite popular at times so please be sure to return the cache as you found it and be sure it can not be seen by passers by.

There is a picnic table near this site and the surrounding area contains many interesting relics of the forest harvesting, that began in the 1890’s and only stopped in 1990.

The Cache is now a fake rock.
