If your significant other is not all that interested in Geocaching, but likes the beach, this is a cache for you. Take a short walk north on the beach with or without the other person and look for the Web Cam. One of your friends will need to help you log this cache.
To log this cache, you will need at least two members of your team. Go to the listed coordinates. Look around until you find the eye in the sky looking at you. Use your cell phone to call the other member of your team who will need to have access to a computer that can access the Naples Daily News WEB CAM at Vanderbilt Beach (still image), Naples, FL (visit link) Have your computer team member “refresh “ or “reload” the web page until they see you and your GPS on the image. Have them right click on the image and save the image to their computer. Do NOT left click on the image to the streaming mode. You will not be able to save the image if you do. Once the image is saved have them e-mail it to you. To log this cache, post your log and image with GPS in hand. Logs without images will be deleted.
For “Snow Birds” this is a great location for your friends up north to see you enjoying the beach during the winter.
