After the success of the 'Bucks Cache Meet' in 2003 the second annual bash will be held this year on the 25th July, at the White Lion PH, Marsworth, from 12pm onwards, but of course you can call in at any time. All are welcome! so please come along to meet a few new faces, swap travel bugs and talk lunchbox!
The White Lion can be found just a few miles from Aylesbury, Dunstable & Tring, on the Herts/Bucks and almost Beds boundaries, giving easy access from those three counties. Visiting from Oxford shouldn't be a problem either as this location lies just off the A41, Birmingham to London road.
The pub is set in picturesque surroundings, just seconds away from the Grand Union Canal and 3 local reservoirs. A multi cache will become available on the day, which event visitors can complete in-between drinks!
The following Information may be of interest to people attending this event:-
The Pub is open from 12pm until 10.30pm
Food will be served as usual between 12 & 4pm and then later between 6 & 9pm
Credit & Debit cards are accepted and Cash back is available
Children are welcome inside and outside the pub as are dogs
Ample parking is available free of charge throughout the day
The meet will begin at 12pm to coincide with the opening of the pub. There is a large beer garden, where, weather provided, visitors can sit, however, this area is first come first served! so arrive early to guarantee seating!
There is, and has been a forum posting running on this meet for some time now, which can be found by pressing here. Any feedback, especially to let me know that you are coming would be appreciated so could anyone interested either leave a note here or there, thanks!
