Cockington Woods Traditional Cache
PurplePenguin: Time to archive this one, as it would seem to have gone missing. It is too far from home to maintain regularly, so it is time to say goodbye to our first cache hide. PP

A short walk in Manscombe Woods, Cockington Country Park.
There are many paths around the woods, we suggest the one from the Gamekeeper's Cottage and on to Warren Barn. The cache is a medium-sized rectangular plastic container.
Cockington is accessible by car, bus, or a one mile walk from the seafront. There are car parks, toilets, cafes, and gift shops in the village of Cockington. There are many places to indulge in a clotted cream tea to celebrate finding the cache, our favourite is Lanscombe House.
The Domesday Book village of Cockington has hardly changed through the centuries. It is a picturesque village of thatched cottages with an historic manor house and the 460 acres of parkland, woodland and farmland.
